At Imprudence, we come from the world of design, video games, cinema and digital technology. Whether designers, futurists, makers or creators... we’re all story-tellers here.

So we use fiction to guide us forward – or, more accurately, design fiction.  We explore the possible implications of future developments on a sector, an industry or a company.

Silicon Valley is a product of the hippie movement and nerd and hacker culture, but these movements have already had their time and fallen to the wayside. It’s now the incubators and playgrounds in the more experimental fields which will unveil the future mainstream.

By observing what happens at the very edges, in laboratories, research centers, universities, art and creative centers, fablabs and other radical experimental spaces, we can find the material we need to imagine these futures.
